Seeking collaborators for a quantitative research project? Share your research problems and connect with collaborators from the Department of Statistics and the College of Science at our Statistics Research Collaboration Mixer on Wednesday, October 8th from 3-5PM in the Memorial Union Room 109. Drinks & Refreshments Provided!
The goal of this event is to foster new interdisciplinary collaborations by connecting faculty facing novel data analysis problems with statistics faculty looking for problems to motivate their methodology research.
The mixer will feature 30 minutes of lighting talks from faculty in the Department of Statistics, the College of Science, and the School of Public Policy, with speakers using their time to introduce themselves and the projects they hope to collaborate on. If you have a project you are seeking collaborators for, please sign up to give a lightning talk!
