The Department of Statistics invites applications for a Data Analytics Program Director (0.50 FTE/Professional Faculty) and an Instructor (0.50 FTE/Academic) position. One appointee will be hired to fill both positions which will result in a combined full-time (1.0 FTE) 9-month, fixed-term appointment. Reappointment is at the discretion of the Department Head.

Data Analytics Program Director Summary:

The focus of this faculty position is to provide leadership in the establishment and promotion of the Data Analytics program, assist in building industry relationships, and to enhance students’ learning in this new graduate on-line program. The Program Director is expected to provide direct oversight of the program and is responsible for coordinating admissions, delivery and assessment of the program.

Instructor Summary:

Position will focus on providing instruction and course development for the Data Analytics on-line graduate degree program.

The Statistics Department’s missions are to train students in the theory and practice of statistics; to engage in research and other scholarly activities that will promote the proper use of statistical methodology; and to provide statistical service to other university units. The department has a wide selection of on-campus and on-line classes.
